We have a guess from Chicago and the largest number we have gathered so far. Like the previous, we come from different nations. However, the credible thing is that six of us are from India, speak different languages, and have different cultures. Each of us has a lot of things to learn from one another, even though we are from the same country. The funny thing was when a Chinese among us look some of our Indians, they called them Chinese-looking Indians.

Our topic for the discussion that week was “Loneliness”. Each of us expresses loneliness in a different form; one distinguishes being alone and being lonely because when he is alone, he enjoys that moment, but being homesick, which causes loneliness, is hurting. Likewise, someone expressing loneliness can create lostness in life where it can be so disconnected that it can make you sad and depressed. For others, that loneliness time can be overcome through spirituality and having faith in God. Even one of us tells us that a good connection with a parent who always makes us feel their presence, though they are not physically, can drive away those lonely moments.

After our conversation, we concluded with Maria Telleria's story. At 14, she immigrated to America. Then, she invented Canvas, the world's first robotic tool for the drywall finishing trade. Her inspiration came from her father, who encouraged her to fix things with him around the house. So, like Maria, we all need someone close to inspire us to overcome our loneliness in a broken world.
